Awakening Women Rotating Header Image

Spiritual practice, Sadhana, can be the kindest gift
you can give to yourself and the world.

A future goal of perfection will never
make sweaty, hot and holy love to you.
Why chase a frigid lover made of plastic, when right here
right now, intimacy itself is yearning to love you to pieces,
to love you all the way in.

Awakening, like love, is not an achievement.
It is a blossoming of your own being.
Infinite.
Always here.

Our Yogini practices are not attempts to fix ourselves,
or to get rid of anything,
they undress us, bring us more nakedly here,
right into the heart of this moment.

She has been yearning to undress
you forever, to show you Shiva inside your own heart.
the fabric is so thin,
can you feel it?
Just a deep breath, a laughter, a roar.
A letting go –
and the moment opens like a rose.

Yes, we all know how spiritual practice
can lead us down a road of ambition,
of comparison and plastic concepts,
but spiritual practice can also be the fertilizer,
the water, the sunlight to this blossoming already happening within.

Spiritual practice, Sadhana, can be the kindest gift
you can give to yourself and the world.

There is some kiss we want with our whole lives,
the touch of spirit on the body
~ Rumi

:: Practice ~ Embracing the repulsive lover

It may be easier to do this practice with closed eyes.

What is it you hope to get rid of/move away from/overcome?
Feel how those aspects feel like in your body.

What is calling you into intimacy right now?
Keep feeling the sensations in the body.
Breathe and give space to what you notice.
Inwardly “hug/turn towards/lean into” that which you avoid.

Lets go for the real, sister.
