Embodied Mythology
Online Goddess studies and sadhana
October 15 - December 17, 2025
with Chameli Gad
We are many hearing the call to gather and tend the fire of what truly matters. At this precarious moment on the planet, we come to our seat as we have always done, in the timeless wisdom of the circle. Each of us holds a single thread in the Great Story that, put together, can weave the most intricate, ornate offering of beauty and wisdom to leave behind for the next generations
In the tradition of oral transmission, we will immerse ourselves in Goddess myths to retrieve the living, breathing original instructions for cosmic awakening and embodied dignity.
We will approach the wisdom in myth not as something static, waiting for us, but as something that unfolds itself and us on the way. Through storytelling, reflection and embodied practice, we will nurture a fundamental restoration of our “web consciousness,” learning to see with “mythical eyes” and remembering our belonging in the Great Story of the Living Goddess.
Not really a course you do, achieve or fail at, this is more like a love affair between you and the universe, an initiation into lifelong apprenticeship with Goddess. Like a labyrinth, a mandala, a spiral, this journey is one of unfurling, of shedding; a path of awakening to our true nature, always here, always now.
You will deepen your practice of embodied spirituality and, and learn how to unlock the symbolism, codes and maps of consciousness hidden in myths. You will also learn simple, doable practices and rituals that easily integrate with your daily life, to light you up, soothe and tickle you, awakening deeper meaning in your life.
Like seeds calling for the waters of recognition,
living prayers are encoded in our hands and tongues;
the imprint of ceremony as a way of life
lays planted in our hearts.
Our bodies remember the original agreement:
how to live rooted in reciprocity and respect for the Earth:
how to recognize the cosmic infinity in a blade of grass;
how to live these precious moments here
in gratitude, in trust, awake to the magic
of this life we have been given.
“Chameli is a living temple. Every teaching, every myth, every breath is an invitation to remember the sacred in the ordinary. I’ve danced with Kali, wept with Durga, and prayed with Saraswati. These aren’t just stories—they are mirrors of my own becoming. I now hold ceremony not just for others, but for myself.”

“Chameli’s teachings helped me remember my wholeness—not by fixing, but by softening into who I truly am. Her sanctuary held me with fierce tenderness, meeting me exactly where I was. I’ve integrated these practices into my leadership and daily life. I now lead with deep listening and embodied presence. The Goddess walks with me—and I with Her.

“The teachings offered me a sanctuary for the soul—a place to listen deeply, not just with my ears, but with my breath, my womb, and my bones. Through her gentle yet powerful practices, I remembered that I am nature, I am myth, I am sacred. Every gesture, every breath, becomes a way of honoring the feminine in all things.”

“Before Awakening Women, I felt spiritually fragmented—like I had to choose between being grounded and being mystical. This path showed me that I am both. The teachings don’t just live in my journal—they live in my breath, my relationships, my choices. I’ve learned to listen to the whispers of the Goddess in everyday life.”

“I came to Awakening Women longing for depth, and I found a wellspring. The teachings are ancient yet alive, poetic yet practical. I’ve cried, danced, prayed, and remembered parts of myself I didn’t know were missing. It’s not just learning—it’s initiation. The Yogini path is not linear—it spirals. Some days I feel radiant, others I feel raw.”

“I finally feel like I belong. In Awakening Women, I found a sisterhood that honors both the mess and the magic. I’ve never felt so seen, so safe, so spiritually nourished. Through movement, myth, and meditation, I reclaimed my body as sacred space. I no longer seek outside validation—I listen to the pulse of Shakti within.”
