Recently, on Saturday’s I have begun to search for recipes which has inspired me to create a book of delicious things not just for enjoyment and yummy food, but as medicine and honey for my heart. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

Ideally I love to learn about recipes that have been handed down in my family, and recipes from friends and other sisters. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

But, there are also SO many incredible recipes out there that it’s fun to search for them like searching for precious stones. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

Here is one of my favorites I’d love to share with you: ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

“Lavender, Rose, Reishi hot chocolate” ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

1 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp rose buds or petals
1/2 tsp lavender buds
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cacao
1/2 tsp Reishi (optional)
1 tsp raw honey
1 serving cbd (optional)

Heat up the milk on the stove with lavender and rose. Let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain out flowers, and heat back up. Blend with remaining ingredients in a high speed blender until frothy. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍

This whole recipe is from @rootandbones – they have the most deliciously, luxurious beverage recipes and sell medicinal mushrooms and tonic herbs.

I hope this inspires you to make something yummy for yourself this weekend.

With love,
