Awakening Women Teachers

Chameli Ardagh

Founder of Awakening Women

Chameli (pronounced sha-meh-lee) is a yogini and women’s wisdom keeper. Her love of decoding and experimenting with ancient wisdom teachings through her own practice in yogini circles all over the world has crystallized maps of spiritual awakening and leadership that are accessible, practical and honoring of women today. Rooted in earth honoring, devotional women’s spirituality and goddess centered tantric yoga, she is especially appreciated for her love of mythology and storytelling as a key to spiritual awakening and embodiment.

Tanya Morris

Temple Training Teacher

After being completely inspired by Awakening Women's Facebook page and then Chameli’s TED talk on anger, Tanya decided to jump two feet in and fly to America to do the Awakening Women Temple Training in California in 2013. Since that completely heart, mind and soul-opening experience, she has been holding her own women’s temple, bringing the awakening love to Australia.  She has since been blessed to join the Corfu and online retreats and welcome Chameli to Australia for a temple training in 2015. She lives in Brisbane, Australia, with her daughter and husband. She loves weaving women’s temple practices into her naturopathic practice and college lecturing.
