Founder of Awakening Women

Chameli (pronounced sha-meh-lee) is a yogini, mystic and a Goddess Wisdom Keeper. Her love of decoding and experimenting with ancient wisdom teachings through her own practice in yogini circles all over the world has crystallized maps of spiritual awakening and leadership that are accessible, practical and honoring of women today. Rooted in earth honoring, devotional women’s spirituality and goddess centered tantric yoga, she is especially appreciated for her love of mythology and storytelling as a key to spiritual awakening and embodiment.

SimoneRita Egger

Temple Training + 9 Month Program Teacher


SimoneRita is a Goddess Wisdom Keeper in the lineage of the Living Goddess. As a young woman, in search of unconditional truth, she learned about various wisdom teachings. Since 2007, she has been passionately practicing in women’s circles around the world. Her feminine spiritual practice, rooted in Goddess-centered tantric yoga, consists of meditation, dance, movement, chanting, being a businesswoman and mother.

She is especially appreciated for her knowledge of the original instructions of the Living Goddess that lead us home and how to live that in all aspects of our being, our family, our relationships and our leadership.

SimoneRita is an Awakening Women Teacher and works in the Awakening Women Team. She also teaches the Awakening Women 9-Month Program and the Women’s Temple Group Training.

Yashodhara van Vilsteren

Temple Training + 9 Month Program Teacher


Yashodhara, originally from Holland, lives near Munich and has been practicing with Chameli and Awakening Women since 2005. She has participated and assisted in many Awakening Women seminars. Yashodhara was the team leader of all German temple group trainings when Chameli taught them. For 12 years she has been facilitating women’s temple evenings, days and weekends.

Yashodhara also works in a holistic hospital, offers temple for couples, private sessions in Tibetan Pulsing Yoga and The Journey of Brandon Bays.
