Date: May 30 – June 3, 2018
Location: Boulder, Colorado

Feminine embodiment. Timeless wisdom.
Translucent leadership.

In the Women’s Temple we dive deeply into practices that open us to the inherent source of vast wisdom within. We connect with the bliss of devotion and with the truth in our hearts. We align with the dignity and grace of the feminine warrior, and we touch infinite compassion, silence and beauty beyond measure.

That which we are longing for is who we already are ~ this insight is the basis for our spiritual exploration in the Women’s Temple Group. Thus our practice is not towards a goal of attainment in the future; it is a process of melting, of unraveling the wisdom and beauty already inherent in each woman. There is no more powerful place to do that than in a circle of conscious women.

Instead of enforcing the status quo by focusing on our problems and personal shortcomings, the Women’s Temple group practices connect us with truth beyond our fears and limited self images.

The Women’s Temple is not a therapy or a support group. It is a space where we come to mirror, celebrate and empower each other. A space where we can drop our masks and let the beauty of our authentic face be seen in all its glory and pain, passion and vulnerability.

This is a highly experiential path: a lot of the practices are interactive and include movement and also respectful touch. The feminine touch has an inviting quality to it that softens, opens, and invites deeper presence into our bodies. All the numb and cold places, the unmet corners of our body can be visited with gentle awareness as we cultivate a greater capacity to allow feelings as energy to flow through our bodies.

About Dominique

radhame-300x300Dominique is an Awakening Women Temple Training Teacher. She fell head-over-heels in love with Awakening Women and the Yogini Circle in 2011 and has since given her life to this wild path of feminine embodiment.  She has spent the last 6 years traveling and apprenticing with Chameli, the founder of Awakening Women, attending and assisting in most trainings and retreats, deepening her practice as a yogini committed to awakening.

Dominique works as part of the AWI team. She has held her own Women’s Temple Groups in Sebastopol, California for 1 year and in Berkeley, California for 5 years. For several years, she has been initiating new women into the Nevada City Women’s Temple group, the first Temple group started by Chameli Ardagh and Helena Montelius.

She spends her time between Northern California, India, and Basque Country in the North of Spain, exploring her endless curiosity for what it means to be an embodied, truth-devoted woman on the earth at this time. She has founded and teaches her own work of Self-Marriage Ceremonies for women, a pathway of committing to what matters most and honoring the wholeness of our hearts.

“Dominique is a radiant star. Her warm heart shines in all directions, she has the ability to let love flow through… and it hits you like a wave of grace filled with curiosity, honesty, power, humor and innocence. She is a poetess of truth and her abundant creativity inspires me to dive deeper into the devotional aspect of feminine essence. This amazing young woman has wisdom and experience to share, to be in her presence is a true gift of life.”

Feedback from Temple Leadership Training Graduates:

MelanieI arrived home from this training so deeply immersed in the sanctuary of my body. Had the sweetest reunion with my husband, and he had a hard time breathing next to me because he could feel the energy. We met at home and he cried and cried. He said it was like meeting my more open sister. I can't wait to keep going and practice more and remain in this divine union with Self.

Kim StuartAbsolutely the most fulfilling experience that I have ever had. The AWI training was more than what I could have expected! It helped me open myself so that I may share the Divine Feminine with other women. So much gratitude for how much my heart was filled up with the honey that Chameli shared. To see her embodiment of the Divine Feminine, to hear her wisdom through the words, the Temple practices, and the care that was taken with each sister made you want to stay in this circle—this safe place, forever. The training connected me to the energy within myself that flows from the Divine Feminine, which I carry in the deepest place in my soul and has enriched my journey. Jai Ma!

I had a big insight and realization that I’ve spent much of my life thinking that feeling was associated with weakness. I will go home with a full heart and a knowing that it is not only okay to feel but that feeling is the doorway to Presence ~and ultimately to the Goddess who rocks us all in her arms.

Teresa MenziesI was amazed at the depth of experience in which we traveled. I’ve done deep psychological work, but my experience with this AWI program took me much more quickly to a place in which I was able to release long held tension, patterns and beliefs. The scrumptious part was doing it in a safe, warmly held environment of sisters. The relationships I established and deep work I did was amazing! Chameli has laser like precision, which through her practices have transformed me as a woman, as well as permanently changed my relationships with women (for the better!!) forever!

After so many years of academic training and spiritual dogma around how and what awareness ‘should’ be, I finally feel I can live and breathe into awakening. This retreat offers the opportunity to dive into consciousness itself. The unique combination of theoretical discussion and physical practices help integrate incredibly advanced spiritual knowledge into your entire being. It helps to pull together spiritual teachings with real life experience leaving you so much richer for the experience. I have never before been to a spiritual gathering and gained this level of depth and clarity of teaching. There is so much integrity in the teachings and practices that I can do nothing else but bow to the wisdom given so freely here.

Pip Leslie-RoweSharing these profound yet deeply natural practices has confirmed that I am no longer alone. This sharing has given me the strength, courage & willingness to live my Dharma knowing that it is futile and impossible to deny it ever again. The training has brought me to the remembrance of my perfection and uniqueness with such wholeness, wisdom and openness.

I enjoyed the training so much. I discovered that no matter what language you speak, if you are present and speak with an open heart, everyone can feel the words…the meaning…the practice. The tools I have learned are not only helpful for leading a temple, they are also amazing support (pillars) for diving deeper into yourself and of becoming more aware of who you truly are. This lovely, gorgeous training helped me to share more of my gifts with the world. Each practice feels like a deep breath. You become more centered and aware. It is like a drop of water expanding when touching and diving into the surface.

This training was deep medicine~like drinking of the fountain~feeding my soul. It’s not just another workshop, not a place to get more concepts and beliefs–it’s a deep, juicy immersion into your own being–the feminine heart-full, soulful, nourishing way.

This work will give you a direct experience of feminine spirituality, instead of talking about it. You will come away feeling fully Josephineempowered as a woman to live your deepest purpose and to lead others to do the same. Chameli’s presence is so powerful and deeply healing that it will stay with you long after the training has ended. She is not a guru, in the sense that she truly practices what she teaches: transparent leadership free of any ego-trips. Her goal is to fully empower each participant to stand in their own power and see their own beauty and perfection.

Anyone longing for world peace will want to support this work, as it truly brings women in touch with their feminine heart and nature. By empowering women this way, it has the potential to balance our world with compassion.

These days were absolutely beautiful. The Temple space we created was deeply nourishing and supportive, and I received so much inspiration for my own leadership practice in my Temple group. The most valuable gift was how this retreat helped me reconnect with my deeper purpose and supported me to surrender to that greater cause

To me, the training was a deep dive into the potential of connected womanhood. It was wonderful to experience over the course of the week, how one woman after another went through insecurities or issues and stepped into her power as leader of the circle. And it was apparent how each woman showed up with her special gifts and strengths, her very own voice and her very own medicine. I have experienced on a somatic level – not just as something understood with the mind – that we as women can be the most powerful when we are not making an effort and step from doing into being. And don’t even try to be in a certain way, but really letting go into being ourselves. Having the circle of women reflect to me, who I am, what I have to give and on deeply on a cellular level knowing that I belong is the greatest empowerment I can imagine.

My experience there had been very rich, deep and allowed me to embody what truly a women`s temple is all about. The teachings were delivered with such focus and clarity, and supported so well with the practices. It almost didn’t feel like learning but living the wisdom. I liked the way we were supported with our own temple practice as Temple Mamas. To be given that opportunity to practice within endless support, acceptance and love truly encouraged me to be myself, to listen to my instincts and to set up my temple in the town I live. I truly feel a whole circle of wonderful women in my backspace where ever I am and whatever I do. This feels very special and thank you for creating such a safe and open space for us all to be part of this Sisterhood.

I would like to start by sharing that it is difficult for me to put into words what I’ve experienced at the The Awakening Women’s Temple group. And I believe the reason why is because it happened in another realm and speaks the language of the heart. I can say that it changed me in ways I was not expecting. It connected me with something bigger, with something deeper inside myself and awoke me for a different way of living – more aware, loving, compassionate and in touch with my true essence.

I definitely feel compelled to start a Temple group and create the space for women to gather and celebrate the blessing of being a woman.
Deeply grateful for this retreat.

You created a space of gentleness and tenderness that was unique. It was soft, allowing, opening, evolutionary. The atmosphere of a Temple, whatever was on the schedule. I had such beautiful time for a couple of days that affected me very much on a deeper level. A blessing to be in this space of the feminine and divine. In that space I understood the depth and the ancient wisdom of the circle, the force, that direct the temple group.

You made me feel capable, gave me a lot of knowledge about how to manage a group, understanding and inspiration. I got an opportunity to listen to my call for living my life the feminine way. The diploma and the great inspiration from this training helps me to live my longing, makes me confident to create a temple group in my way. And I’m very proud of being a Temple Mama!

This training is going to change my life and impact me to make the next steps on my path. To live my life close to the heart, to be true to myself and to stand up for the Divine. I’m in deep gratitude to you.

I feel blessed that I was in Women's Temple Training.
What I loved:
– the way the training was build up: the variation of theory, practices, dance, meditation, leading a temple yourself, …
– the way we were guided with trust and empowerment
– the non-judgemental way we could be in the circle and practice with leading a Women’s temple
– the atmosphere in the group of sisters, the team, the participants, the cooking team ….
– the way we were gently guided into a deep experience, connecting with the Divine Feminine, in balance with the Divine Masculine
– the balance between flowing and structure and how we can apply these both qualities in our own Temple Leading
– the way questions were answered …. answering without falling into discussions or chitchatting, answers that reach deeper than the mind
– the practices
– follow-up after the training (documents sending, playlist with music, guidelines, fb-page, Temple mamas, ….)
