Women’s Temple Group ~ Facilitator Training

Hear from our graduates

“I was mostly rooted in this understanding that when I’m the leader, everyone has to do what I say and everyone has to follow me and I have to know all the answers and I have to fix everything and save everyone. It was so liberating to learn this new way to work with a group, to lead a group or to guide a women’s temple. This more opening and allowing way, rooted in deep presence and of course with the structure but not sticking to the structure too much but allowing so what wants to arise can arise – that was for me, the biggest revelation in the training here. “

“The Feel Kiss Flow is the most amazing – you can’t even call it a tool; it’s more than that. I would never have understood it if I wouldn’t have had the learning in the training together with the other women. I use that on a daily basis. It’s one of the most important things we have to carry with us at the moment where the world is on fire.”

“I come from the corporate world. I was in this deep searching for being fully integrated in what spirituality means in the daily and worldly life. I was always questioning about the worth of what I was feeling inside about love, about flowing and about be aligned.

I need to work and work is about structure and they don’t go together or so I thought. During the training it was made very clear about the moment where you can be flowing and loving and being with the feminine, and the moments when you need to take action, to structure, to work, to plan. They can be balanced. The guidelines that we are taught during the training are guidelines for leading — leadership. It’s a teaching for life. Not just leading groups.”

“To be honest, I was skeptical because this was all online… I was holding my heart half open for fear of it not being real. I’ve had so much spiritual disappointment in my life of people performing in certain ways but then it turns out there’s this corruption that happens, of tearing each other down… Day Two I was crying my eyes out because I realized this is real.”

“As soon as I saw the practices, I immediately thought I’d love to share these with my queer community in Amsterdam. I think it’s an extension of the women’s work for me… This is my Dharma.”

“If someone is listening, who has had a lot of bad experiencing with other women, a lot of mistrust, a lot of not feeling safe around other women (because that is the world we live in) this focused coming together with other women and then practicing together, learning how to hold space… It’s going to be different. You will be seen and met in that need and maybe in that fear, as well.

Deepening the listening skills… that kind of receiving and giving between women and what that feels like in the body – you can’t read that in a manual. That is incredibly powerful for women to practice together with other women . You’re really going to be held where people have learned through the Awakening Women way.”

“I had my son and then I’ve had the twins and I’ve done things differently as a mother of multiples because I know what fills my cup and I know that if I don’t fill it, there’s nothing. There’s not a happy household. I ended up so unresourced in myself. That attachment I thought I was giving my child wasn’t nearly as rich as what I can give as a mother when I bravely close the door, leaking boobs, whatever, and get there and receive. I put in place a plan to not breastfeed my children at 7 pm so that I could get to the temple. It’s kind of gone 360 with what healthy attachment nourishment is for a mom. Take your your guilt or your confusion… bring it [to temple] and you get held and it’s pure medicine. “
