We do spiritual practice to get out of our own way, to unclench the rigid, automatic ways and become translucent, soft enough so that the unspeakable essence can permeate through us.
It is as if the Goddess is pressing herself through whoever is willing. It is not always pretty and it doesn’t always feel good. It doesn’t always look “enlightened” or “goddessy”, yet we all can feel it when something authentic comes through. We don’t need any more plastic versions of the perfect woman; what we thirst for is the raw, magical medicine of the real.
